Thanks to Debbie from My Random Musings for her 100 Truths Blogger Tag. I love getting to know bloggers and finding out what makes them tick and this is a great way to do that.

So here goes…

The Basics

1 What’s your name? Kim

2 Any nicknames or aliases? Kimi

3 Your gender? Female

4 Your star sign? Gemini

5 How old are you? 29, with the big 3-0 on the horizon next year.

6 Your relationship status? I’ve been married for 4 years.

7 Any children? I’m mummy to a 2.5 year old ragamuffin.

8 Any pets? No, but I’d love a dog.

9 Any tattoos or piercings? Only ear piercings – nothing exciting.

10 What do you like about yourself? I don’t take any sh*t and I say what I think.

11 What do you dislike about yourself? I’m not very articulate when talking. Sometimes I struggle to explain things or cause offence because what I said didn’t sound how I meant it to.

12 Righty or lefty? Righty most of the time. When I’m using a computer mouse I use my left hand because of RSI in my right hand.

Lasts

13 The last thing you drank: A cup of tea.

14 The last thing you ate: Porridge with pineapple chunks.

15 Your last phone call: Probably my Dad, he calls every Sunday evening.

16 Your last text message: A text to my husband to say I was leaving work.

17 Your last email: It was to send a guest post I wrote to another blogger.

18 The last song you listened to: It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas by Michael Buble.

19 The last book you read: The Power by Naomi Alderman. If you’ve not read it you need to – it’s gripping.

20 The last time you cried: It sounds pathetic but, I shed a couple of tears of joy when one of my favourite characters popped up in my favourite TV show Criminal Minds. Derek Morgan was written out of the show a few seasons ago but he made an appearance in the latest season.

21 The last blog you read: I read a post on affiliate links by Aby at You Baby Me Mummy.

22 The last person you spoke to: Ragamuffin

23 The last place you visited: The Yorkshire Wildlife park over the weekend.

24 Your last holiday abroad: The Maldives on honeymoon in 2013. It’s the best holiday I’ve ever had and I dream of going back one day.

Have you ever?

25 Have you ever gotten back with an ex? Nope.

26 Have you ever been cheated on? Not that I know of.

27 Have you ever cheated on someone? Nope.

28 Have you ever lost someone special to you? My nan died over the summer and I miss her every day.

29 Have you ever been so drunk you threw up? Yes as a teen.

30 Have you ever fallen out of love with someone? No.

31 Have you ever met someone who changed you? I think I’ve mellowed as a person since I met my husband over 10 years ago.

32 Have you ever been in a situation where you found out who your real friends are? Yes.

33 Have you ever kissed someone you probably shouldn’t have? Nope.

34 Have you ever found out people were talking about you behind your back? Not that I can remember.

35 Have you ever broken someone’s heart? Not that I know of.

36 Have you ever kissed a stranger? Nope.

37 Have you ever had your own heart broken? Nope.

38 Have you ever had sex on the first date? No.

39 Have you ever been arrested? No.

40 Have you ever been attracted to someone that isn’t the gender you usually find attractive? Does a girl-crush on Helena Bonham-Carter count? I think she’s a-maz-ing!

41 Have you ever done something you regret? No.

42 Have you ever had a threesome? No.

43 Have you ever embarrassed yourself in public? I don’t think so.

44 Have you ever misjudged someone? Yes several times. I’m working on not judging people on first impressions alone.

Your Beliefs and Opinions

45 Do you believe in God? No.

46 Do you believe in yourself? If I don’t, who will?

47 Do you believe in Santa Claus? Nope.

48 Do you believe in ghosts? In the cold light of day – no, but as soon as the lights go out I do get scared. Especially when I’m alone.

49 Do you believe in aliens? I’m undecided.

50 Do you believe in miracles? No, you get nothing for free in this world.

51 Do you believe in the power of positive thinking? I think that positive thinking makes people feel happy.

52 Do you believe in love at first sight? No.

53 Can money make you happy? I think so. Having enough money so that you don’t worry means that you can spend your time enjoying life.

54 Would you describe yourself as a feminist? Loud and proud.

55 Are you pro-life or pro-choice? Pro-choice. I can’t say for sure whether I’d have an abortion myself but I 100% believe that only a woman has the right to decide what she does with her own body.

56 Do you have strong political beliefs? I’m a labour supporter.

57 Do you have strong religious beliefs? No, but I won’t judge anyone who does.

58 What do you think the most important thing you can give a child is? Love. If a child feels loved unconditionally everything else will fall into place.

Right Now

59 Are you eating anything right now? No but I am hungry.

60 Are you drinking anything right now? No, I’ve not long finished a cup of tea.

61 What are you listening to right now? Nothing.

62 What are you thinking about right now? I’m thinking about how I can earn a full-time income from my blog.

63 What are you waiting for right now? Lunchtime 🙂

64 What are you most excited about right now? Christmas and seeing Ragamuffin’s face when she sees her new toy kitchen for the first time!

65 What’s your pet hate right now? Finding a sink full of dirty dishwater.

66 What’s your favourite thing right now? Listening to audio books in the car.

67 If you weren’t answering these questions, what would you be doing right now? Watching Doc Mcstuffins with Ragamuffin.

Firsts

68 Your first best friend: A girl called Vicky, we’ve lost contact over the years.

69 Your first kiss: I can’t remember.

70 Your first celebrity crush: I think it was Peter Andre – I remember having his poster on my bedroom door anyway.

71 Your first holiday: Ilfracombe I think.

72 Your first pet: We had a few over the years, dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters. But I can’t remember which was the first.

73 Your first regret: I honestly can’t remember.

74 Your first job: I was a waitress at a local cafe when I was 13 earning £2 an hour!

75: Your first childhood memory: Coming home from school and finding one of my younger sisters head first in the toy box, legs kicking the air. It was hilarious.

A few random questions to finish on

89 Do you wish you could change your past? Yes, I wish I’d been more careful with money when I was younger.

90 What’s your dream job? The answer to this question has changed over the years. There was a time when I wanted to be a programmer at Microsoft, nowadays I’d love to earn a full-time income from my blog.

91 What’s your guilty pleasure? Terrible 80’s music.

92 What are you afraid of? The dark.

93 What was the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up? A vet.

94 If you could have any super power, what would it be? I’d like to read people’s minds so I know what they’re really thinking. Sometimes I find people hard to read so mind-reading would really help.

95 If you could change anything about your life what would it be? I’d like to own our house.

96 Would you want immortality? My first thought was no, forever is a very long time.

97 If you could interview anyone alive or dead who would you choose? I’d love to interview Michelle Obama. Emma Watson is a close second.

98 Would you say you are happy? Yes. If anything I feel slightly unfulfilled in my day job but that’s something I’m looking to address in 2018.

99 What one piece of advice would you give to yourself at age eighteen? Make sure you put money aside for a rainy day.

100 Where would you like to be in five years’ time? I’d like to be a full-time blogger.

 

I wrote this a few weeks before it was published on my non-working weekday so the nows and lasts probably aren’t as accurate as they were at the time of writing.
